Isaiah and Peter said the word of the Father endures forever. Why don’t modern preachers teach the same thing as Isaiah, Peter, and Messiah [Christ]?
- Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our Elohim shall stand for ever.
- 1 Peter 1:25 But the word of Yahweh endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the good news is preached unto you.
We believe in the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:
- 1 John 5:7-8 For there are three that bear record, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
Yahshua’s [Jesus’s] doctrine was not his own, but his Father’s.
- John 7:16-17 Yahshua answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
- John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
Sin is the transgression/breaking of the law.
- 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
- James 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
- Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
He said not to even think that, and it would never change while heaven and earth still existed.
- Matthew 5:17-19 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
He died for our sins and the sins of the whole world.
- John 3:16 For Yahweh so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
We are saved by the gift of grace through faith, not by works.
- Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Yahweh: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The church is one body in Messiah [Christ]. In him we are the seed of Abraham, inheriting the promise, both Jews and Gentiles.
- Romans 12:4-5 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in the Messiah, and every one members one of another.
- Ephesians 2:18-19 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of Elohim;
- Galatians 3:27-29 For as many of you as have been baptized into the Messiah have put on the Messiah. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in the Messiah Yahshua. And if ye be the Messiah’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
- 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is the Messiah. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath Elohim set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but Elohim hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of the Messiah, and members in particular.
Through Messiah [Christ] we are grafted into Israel and become one with His covenant people that received Him. Believing Israel is the church!
- Ephesians 2:11-22 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without the Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without Yahweh in the world: But now in the Messiah Yahshua ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of the Messiah. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto Elohim in one body by the [torture] stake, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of Elohim; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yahshua the Messiah himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in Yahweh: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of Elohim through the Spirit.
- Romans 11:11-24 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? May that never be so: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou will say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if Elohim spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of Yahweh: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for Elohim is able to graft them in again. For if thou were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? - Hebrews 8:8-10 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith Yahweh. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Yahweh; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them an Elohim, and they shall be to me a people:
If you are the seed of Abraham, then you will do the works of Abraham. Abraham obeyed because he believed.
- John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Yahshua saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
- James 2:21-23 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed Yahweh, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of Yahweh.
- Genesis 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
If we are truly in Messiah [Christ] then we are new creations and we don’t live the way that we used to.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in the Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
- Ephesians 4:17-18 This I say therefore, and testify in Yahweh, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of Elohim through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
We have changed because our old rebellious nature dies as we die ourselves and follow Him.
- Romans 6:6-7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with the Messiah, we believe that we shall also live with him:
- Matthew 16:24 Then said Yahshua unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his stake, and follow me.
Faith not accompanied by works is dead and useless by itself.
- James 2:14-17 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
We should strive to walk as our Messiah [Christ] walked.
- 1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
- John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
The New Covenant is clearly stated as having His law in your heart. We obey Him because we love Him.
- John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.
- Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Master, Master, and do not the things which I say?
Paul said we do not do away with [void] the law through faith, but we uphold the law [establish it].
- Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? May that never be so: yea, we establish the law.
Messiah said if you break the least of the commandments in the law and the prophets and teach other people to do the same, then you would be called the least in the kingdom.
- Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
